Jennie Wilson(pictured above right), Cynthia Harris and Pam Dixon are part of a team of over 100 volunteers making a huge contribution to Lindsey Lodge Hospice through its seven charity shops.  Sometimes rarely seen by customers as our ‘Backroom Champions’ help process huge amounts of all kinds of donated stock every week raising lots of money.  If you would like to join the team and help to make our shops an even bigger success please get in touch. 

Our much loved bookshop in Ashby is moving to bigger, better and more accessible premises a few doors away at 288 Ashby High Street.  The new shop will open on 6th June with some fantastic offers.  If you have experience of bookshops, time to give and would like to volunteer to work in our bookshop please contact Sue or Victoria on 01724 270835.

Hospice shops By visiting our shops you can buy a range of good quality clothes, soft furnishings and bric-a-brac. All our shops are usually open between 9.30am and 4pm, although times may vary. You can find our hospice shops in the following places:

If you are thinking of donating to Lindsey Lodge Hospice please take time to read this information. All donations are gratefully received & help raise much needed funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice. We are unable to collect items from individual households but will help you to set up D-Days in workplaces, schools and other places where lots of people can access.

Donate—don’t dump! DON’T throw away your saleable clothes, handbags, shoes, bric-a-brac, glass ware, books, toys and pottery. DO donate to Lindsey Lodge Hospice and help raise much need funds DON’T throw away old sheets, towels, worn out clothes, blankets and fabrics. DO donate them Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Mark the bags RAGS and we can recycle them straight away for extra cash. DON’T donate broken or unusable items. If telephoning please understand that during busy periods it may not be possible to answer. Emails will be checked daily. Each shop has a manager and is staffed by a team of regular volunteers. The money we raise in our shops and snack bar is used to fund the services we provide at the Hospice.

We urgently need vintage items donated to our Ashby and Barton shops. Vintage is now so popular that we need many more items. So if you have a 40’s hat, a 50’s bag, 60’s shoes or a 70’s dress doing nothing in your wardrobe please pop them in to your local hospice shop. There's all kinds of bargains to be snapped up in Lindsey Lodge Hospice shops and at our boutique style shop All Dressed Up in Scunthorpe. Join the chazzing craze, dress the best for less and keep your wardrobe fresh by donating stuff once you've loved it enough. That way you are always supporting Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Vintage Wear.  What's that? We class vintage as items that date from the 1930s to the 1960s. You can now find vintage rails at two of our shops - Ashby and Barton upon Humber. We'd like to expand our vintage offer but need your help. You can donate vintage items to any of our shops. These might include ladies and gents clothing, ladies handbags gloves, hats ,scarves , shoes jewellery etc.

Donated stock needed All proceeds from items donated to Lindsey Lodge helps keep the hospice running. Nearly all donated items help to raise funds. The jumper that has been lurking in the draw for years could be turned into £5 to help patients at Lindsey Lodge! If you pay UK tax (who doesn't?) you can agree that we can claim Gift Aid on the proceeds when the item is sold. At no cost to you that £5 becomes £6.40!

Donations of time and talent needed We urgently need volunteer help at our Brigg and Ashby shops (hospice shop and bookshop). If you have a morning or afternoon to spare and want to help make a difference we might just have the opportunity for you. You can help serve customers or sort and prepare donated goods for re-sale.
