If you would like to know more about volunteering as a hairdresser with Lindsey Lodge Hospice, or in any other way, please contact Sue Houghton our Volunteer Co-ordinator on 01724 270835 or email: Sue Houghton.

________________________________________________

Volunteers make a vital contribution to Lindsey Lodge Hospice, giving their time and skills to support the care provided for patients, families and loved ones. Volunteers are involved throughout the organisation and Lindsey Lodge Hospice could not work as it does without volunteer help.

The Council of Management, which oversees the running of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, comprises volunteers who give their time and experience to help ensure the charity is well run.

A number of roles are undertaken by around 400 voluntary staff and helpers. Without this commitment it would be very difficult to provide the range of care and services offered at Lindsey Lodge.

_____________________________________________________________

Volunteers help the nursing staff by providing refreshments for patients and families or sitting with patients. A team of drivers ensure safe arrival of patients and tranpsort home for those who need it. All our receptionists are volunteers and some of our administration and financial work is carried out by voluntary staff.

Volunteers are also involved with fundraising activities such as organising activities as part of our supporter groups, arranging their own fundraising, helping in our charity shops and in the snack bar at the Magistrate's Court in Scunthorpe.

If you would like to know more about volunteering with Lindsey Lodge you can contact us in any of the following ways:
