Welcome to Lindsey Lodge

Lindsey Lodge Hospice #weneedyou

Lindsey Lodge Hospice launched its #weneedyou campaign following the cancellation and postponement of its traditional fundraising activities, due to lockdown restrictions and social distancing guidelines.
The campaign encourages people to support the Hospice however they can, whether it’s completing a weird and wonderful challenge, buying a ticket for the Summer Superdraw or simply spreading the word.

It’s not just physical challenges that people are taking on for Lindsey Lodge, there have been head shaves, 300k runs in 30 days and even sitting in baths of cereal, proving that there are ways for everyone to get involved.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice Chief Executive Karen Griffiths said: “We’re extremely overwhelmed and grateful for the support that we’ve received from the local community.
“We’ve had many wonderful activities and challenges taken on in support of the Hospice, most of which have been undertaken in peoples back gardens! It’s been great to see the local community coming together to support Lindsey Lodge.
“We’re in unprecedented times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which is why we need people’s support now more than ever, so we’re encouraging people to get involved in our #weneedyou campaign in any way they can.”

Even at this very difficult time, our Inpatient Unit remains fully operational, and our clinical team are working tirelessly 24/7 to support local patients and families at the hardest, most difficult time in their lives.

#Weneedyou and your support to try and mitigate the financial impact of Coronavirus on our Hospice, and continue to provide our specialist palliative care. Whether it's making a donation or setting up your own fundraiser at home, every penny counts.

Welcome to Lindsey Lodge Hospice

Situated in the heart of North Lincolnshire, Lindsey Lodge Hospice has been providing high quality, specialist palliative care to local people and families living with life limiting illnesses for over 27 years.

Every year, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers touch the lives of hundreds of people, either directly as patients, or by supporting family members or carers, before, during and after one of the most difficult times in their lives.

We are passionate about providing the best possible services to meet the needs of our patients and their loved ones. Our expert care has never been more in demand; not only by cancer patients, but people with serious cardiac or respiratory issues, and those with advanced motor neurone disease. Some of our older patients also have additional needs such as mobility problems or dementia.

We are an independent charity working across North Lincolnshire and provide a wide range of services including symptom management, physiotherapy, a lymphoedema service, complimentary therapy, nursing care, at the end of life care along with bereavement and family support services.

We are immensely privileged to deliver a service which actually affirms and improves quality of life by providing patients with relief from symptoms, pain and stress, enabling their dignity and supporting their loved ones through the highs and lows of their illness and beyond.
