Summer Superdraw launched at Lindsey Lodge Hospice
A North Lincolnshire hospice is inviting people to take part in its latest charity draw.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe has launched its summer 2018 Superdraw, with a top prize of £2,000 up for grabs for people who purchase a £1 ticket.
The Burringham Road-based hospice, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, provides free of charge specialist palliative care for day and inpatient patients with life limiting illnesses from North Lincolnshire, including symptom management, emotional support and end of life care. Run as an independent charity, it needs to raise over £3.3 million every year to run its services.
Lindsey Lodge Lottery Co-ordinator Peter Dennis, who co-ordinates the Hospice Superdraw said: “Last year’s summer and Christmas Superdraws raised over £42,000 for the Hospice, which is the equivalent of funding over 3,000 hours of nursing care. It’s this kind of support that helps us to make a big difference to local patients and families who need our specialist hospice services.”
Tickets are available now from Lindsey Lodge Hospice reception, all of its Hospice shops and online at https://www.lindseylodgehospice.org.uk/summer-superdraw/
As well as the first prize of £2,000, there is also a £250 second prize along with third prize of £100.
Peter added: “This is an affordable way to support your local Hospice and every £1 spent on a ticket will help ensure local patients and their families have access to the care they need, free of charge at a time when they need it most.”
