A North Lincolnshire charity is inviting people to take part in its latest charity draw.

Lindsey Lodge in Scunthorpe has launched its Spring 2021 Superdraw, with a top prize of £1,500 up for grabs for people who purchase a £1 ticket.

The 29-year old charity provides free of charge specialist care for patients with life limiting illnesses from North Lincolnshire, including symptom management, emotional support and end of life care.

Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Kirsty Walker said “As an independent charity a large portion of our £3.7 million annual running costs comes from fundraising and charitable donations.

“Our last Superdraw alone raised over £30,000 for Lindsey Lodge, taking the total raised by our Superdraws to a staggering £159,000 thanks to our fantastic supporters!

“We’re extremely grateful for the support that we’ve received from the local community. By purchasing and selling our tickets you are directly supporting a vital service that makes a difference to local patients and their families.”

Lindsey Lodge has seen a 98% rise in the number of admissions to its vital Inpatient palliative care services in the last five years. As well as providing vital end of life care, it’s now delivering a variety of innovative services and interventions, which provide much-needed support to people living with life limiting conditions in the community.
