Board Structure

Lindsey Lodge is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.  It is governed by a Board of Trustees of who are collectively responsible for ensuring that Lindsey Lodge is governed well and meets its objects as set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association. 
Our Board of Trustees is responsible for the strategic direction and governance of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, ensuring we fulfil our objectives, and adhere to our vision and values.

It exercises guardianship of the Hospice's assets and resources, and ensures their effective management, control and use.

Trustees are helpful in supporting the hospice’s vision of promoting a positive attitude to diversity and equality of opportunity, to eliminate discrimination and disadvantage in service delivery and employment, and to manage, support or comply through the implementation of the hospices Equal Opportunities Policy.
The Trustee board seeks to maintain a membership that has a wide ranging level of experience so that the Board as a whole has the skills and experience to draw upon in its governance and decision making roles.
