This role is based in our Willoughby Road Shop in Scunthorpe, however may require flexibility to work in our other Hospice shop in the area. The key purpose of the role is to carry out the day to day running of the shop and maximise profit through exceptional customer service. Key elements include helping oversee and manage all shop volunteers, achievement of shop's income and expenditure targets and taking responsibility for the shop procedures including health and safety, cash reconciliation, banking and till procedures.
The role is permanent, part time based on 22.5 hours per week on a rota basis. The salary shown is based on part time hours and dependant on experience. Full induction and training in policies and procedures will be given.
Person specification - we are looking for a self motivated individual who has previous retail experience, preferably in the Charity sector. You will be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. The ability to build and maintain working relationships is essential.
