Charity book shop to hold book signing

A charity-run bookshop is set to host an exclusive book signing event with author Joy Osborne on Saturday 27 November following the release of her new book.
 
Joy Osborne, a volunteer chaplain at Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare, released her first book ‘An Inside Job: The Life of a Prison Chaplain’ which details her experience working as a chaplain at Lincoln Prison between 2002 and 2012. 
 
Customers at Lindsey Lodge’s Bookshop in Ashby will be able to purchase copies of the book, and have the opportunity to have it signed by the author. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Lindsey Lodge.
 
Lindsey Lodge Senior Manager for Retail Jenny Baynham said: “We wish Joy every success with the release of her book, the book signing will be a great way to share this fantastic achievement while also raising funds for Lindsey Lodge.
 
“Our Bookshop is a real treasure trove of fantastic reading material and those visiting this book signing will enjoy having a peruse around what we have to offer.”
 
The signing event will take place at Lindsey Lodge Hospice book shop, 288 Ashby High Street between 10am and 2pm.
