A North Lincolnshire charity has teamed up with four local solicitors in a month-long campaign to highlight the importance of making a Will.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare’s Make a Will Month 2023, runs throughout March, and will see solicitors Symes Bains Broomer
, Sills Betteridge
, BRR Law
and Tyto Law
donating 70% of their standard fee for a single or mirrored Will to the charity, when booked as part of the campaign.
Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Kathryn Stuart said: “Writing a Will is one of the most important things for people to consider when getting their house in order and allows them to state their final wishes.
“Recent research found that less than four in 10 UK adults who own a property, have made a Will, so we’re hoping this campaign will help to raise awareness of their importance at different times in your life.”
She added: “I’d like to say thank you to all of our solicitors for their support, by donating 70% of their fees during Make a Will Month, they’re helping to ensure we are able to continue to provide our specialist palliative care and healthcare services to people and their families, both now and in the future.”
Anyone wishing to take part in Make a Will Week should contact the participating solicitor of their choice to book an appointment.
