A charity run bridal boutique is delighted to be re-opening for business after being badly affected by Covid-19.

Lindsey Lodge has relaunched The Wedding Loft, which offers brides on a budget both brand new and pre-loved gowns to suit any style, size and budget.

Lindsey Lodge Senior Manager for retail Jenny Baynham said: “Our bridal boutique has had a very difficult start as a result of Covid-19. The boutique itself had to close having only just opened due to lockdown, and rules and restrictions around weddings have made it a very difficult marketplace to be in.

“We’re supporting more people than ever in our 29-year history at Lindsey Lodge and our shops, including The Wedding Loft, play a big part in raising the much-needed funds to meet our £3.7 million annual running costs.”

In addition to its current stock of dresses, The Wedding Loft has also received a fantastic boost from local business Osh Gosh Gowns, after they donated a number of brand new wedding dresses ahead of its relaunch.

Jenny added: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Osh Gosh Gowns for their support, by donating the dresses they’re giving helping us to give brides an opportunity to find their dream dress on a budget in our beautiful Wedding Loft, and also provide a special gift of care to North Lincolnshire patients and their families.

“As restrictions around weddings begin to ease and lift, we’re delighted to welcome back brides and help them to find their dream dress, all while supporting Lindsey Lodge.”

Lindsey’s Wedding Loft is now taking bookings for appointments. Brides will be able to try on up to five dresses, and we ask that they bring only two people to the appointment. Face coverings and gloves will be required, and social distancing rules will need to be observed.
