Christmas lights set to shine bright for hospice
.
15th November 2019
Christmas lights in Crowle are set to shine bright in aid of a North Lincolnshire charity.
The spectacular Saffron Way based Brigley House Christmas Lights and Friends, now in its eighth year, will be back with a whole new Christmas show, with more lights, new songs and a whole host of festive favourites, aiming to raise much needed funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
Rob Brown from Brigley House said: “After raising more than £4,400 for charity last year, we can’t wait to reveal this year’s show, and we’re thrilled to be supporting Lindsey Lodge Hospice, which supports so many people in our local community and their families.”
The Burringham Road-based Hospice is run as an independent charity to provide free of charge, specialist palliative care to patients and families living in North Lincolnshire. It relies on fundraising and generous donations from people and organisations in the local community to meet the majority of its £3.5 million running costs.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice Chief Executive Karen Griffiths said: “The commitment and hard work that goes into planning and delivering this glorious display of lights and music should not be underestimated, and we are sincerely grateful to everyone at Brigley House Christmas Lights and Friends for choosing to support Lindsey Lodge Hospice again this year.
“This is another fantastic example of the wonderful support we receive across the Isle of Axholme, within our supporter group and the warm welcome we have received in our new shop in Crowle.”
Karen added: “I do hope all of the visitors Brigley Christmas Lights this year will thoroughly enjoy the show, knowing they will be supporting a charity which provides care for so many families across North Lincolnshire.”
Anyone looking for a festive treat can visit the Brigley Christmas Lights between 1 December and 1 January, daily between 4pm and 9.30pm and every penny donated will be donated to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
