Covid-19 visiting hours update

.
30th March 2020
Please find below the latest update to visiting hours as of 30 March 2020

In response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, and to protect the safety of our patients and clinical staff we have taken the decision to restrict visitor hours to 2pm until 6pm, with a maximum of one visitor per bed. Unless your visit is essential, we are asking you to please consider whether or not you should visit the Hospice.

Unfortunately young children and babies are not able to visit the Hospice at this time.

Visiting for end of life will be at the discretion of the Senior Nurse on an individual basis.

We also ask anyone who is feeling unwell, particularly with a high temperature or a new continuous cough, please do not visit the Hospice. Please review the latest government advice on what you should do.

If possible, please work with us and make any phone calls to the Hospice between 1.30pm and 6pm in line with the amended visiting hours, this is due to the heightened resources we are facing at this time.

If you would like to discuss this further, please discuss with our Senior Inpatient Nurse, Karen Andrew.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
