A Scunthorpe retail supervisor will take fundraising to new heights by parachuting from a plane at 15,000 feet, to raise funds for his local hospice.

Max Marshall (20) will take part in a sponsored skydive in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice on 11 June, Max is a supervisor of the Lindsey Lodge Laneham Street shop.

Max said: “The skydive will be an unforgettable experience and it’s a great way to raise much needed funds for Lindsey Lodge. My family have been keen fundraisers for the hospice and this is the perfect opportunity to challenge myself all while raising money.”

Max added: “The Hospice is a wonderful place to work for, and provides amazing care for the patients and families it supports, so I know that every penny I raise will go to a very deserving cause.”

All of the money raised will be donated to the charity-run Hospice, which provides free of charge, specialist care to North Lincolnshire people with any progressive life-limiting illness, and supports their family and carers during illness and into bereavement.
