Lindsey Lodge Hospice is urging people with a passion for the past to visit its annual Vintage Fair on Saturday 20 October.

The annual charity event, which is held at Redbourn Club on Cemetery Road, Scunthorpe, will showcase over 30 vintage stalls and live music and dancing throughout the day.

Lindsey Lodge Hospice Head of Retail Sue Sumner said: “By day we hold our Vintage Fair with stalls selling clothing, jewellery and retro home ware, including a specialist hair stylist and this year we’re bringing back our Blitz CafĂ©, serving food and drinks at war time prices.”

The Vintage Fair is open between 10am and 4pm, and tickets cost £2 each (children under 16 go free) to raise funds for the Burringham Road Hospice, which is run as an independent charity to provide free of charge, specialist care to North Lincolnshire people with any life-limiting illness, and supports their family and carers during illness and into bereavement.

Sue added: “Every penny raised at this event will go towards ensuring we continue to provide the best possible hospice care now and in the future, so we hope people will come along and support us.”

The event will go on into the evening with a ticket-only evening dance and supper, with live music and entertainment.

A limited number of VIP tickets for the whole Vintage Spectacular at £20, and Evening Dance only tickets at £12.50 are on sale in all Lindsey Lodge Hospice shops, or online at www.lindseylodgehospice.co.uk
