Lindsey Lodge Hospice has officially cut the ribbon on Lindsey’s Pre-loved Fashion and Gifts, which is situated at 27 Market Street, Gainsborough on Monday 9 March at 10am.

Lindsey Lodge Senior Manager, Business Development: Marketing & Retail Jenny Baynham said: “We’re delighted to be opening our very first shop in Gainsborough.

“We’ve got a fantastic newly renovated premises, offering a whole range of new and pre-loved fashion and gifts for men, women and children.”

In less than six months Lindsey Lodge has expanded its retail portfolio to 13 stores, opening new shops in Crowle, Barton, Thorne and a two-storey fashion boutique and Wedding Loft on Scunthorpe High Street, as well as a Retail  Distribution and Donation Centre. It will also open a homeware and electrical store at its revamped shop on Laneham Street and a new shop in Epworth in the next few weeks.

Jenny added: “When you donate, or buy something from our charity retail outlets, you’re directly supporting North Lincolnshire patients and their families. You are also supporting a more sustainable environment, through re-use and recycling and reducing landfill – so we hope the people of Gainsborough will support us in our new venture!”

The Hospice provides specialist care to North Lincolnshire patients with any progressive life-limiting illness, and supports their family and carers during illness and into bereavement. The new outlet will add to its portfolio of charity shops, which generate a significant contribution to its £3.5 million annual running costs.

The new shop will be open Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 4.30pm. Lindsey Lodge Hospice would welcome enquiries from local people regarding volunteering opportunities by contacting Nerissa Gallagher on phone 01724 270835, or emailing llh.volunteering1@nhs.net
