Lindsey Lodge teams up with local solicitors

Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare has teamed up with six local solicitors for its Make a Will Week (13 – 17 September).
 
The campaign has been created to highlight the importance of making a Will, whilst raising funds for Lindsey Lodge.
 
Each participating solicitor will donate 70% of their standard fee for a single or mirrored Will when booked as part of Make a Will Week.
 
Participating solicitors include BG Solicitors; BRR Law; Mason Baggott & Garton; Sills & Betteridge LLP; Symes Bains Broomer and Tyto Law.
 
Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Sophie Boyd said: “Writing a Will is one of the most important things for people to consider when getting their house in order and allows you to state your final wishes.
 
“According to research carried out by Canada Life, 59% of adults in the UK have not written a will. We really hope our Make a Will Week will help to raise awareness of the importance of a Will.”
 
Sophie added: “I’d like to say thank you to all of our solicitors for their support, by donating 70% of their fees during Make a Will Week, they’re helping to ensure we are able to continue to provide our specialist palliative care and healthcare services to people and their families, both now and in the future.”
