A kind-hearted family have raised over £16,350 for a North Lincolnshire charity in memory of their loved one.

Zoe, Dec and Nicole Marshall held a charity night at Winterton Rangers FC in memory of Pete Marshall, their much-loved husband and father, who passed away aged 53 in 2021.

Dec said: “We wanted to raise funds for Lindsey Lodge this year as we know how much support it offers local people and their families, we all know someone who has been helped by Lindsey Lodge so we wanted to support them in memory of my Dad.

He added: “I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes and who attended the evening, it was a great night and we’re delighted to have raised such an amazing amount for Lindsey Lodge.”

Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Emma Hartley said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Dec and the whole family on behalf of everyone here at Lindsey Lodge.

“This is a huge amount of money that will really make a difference to our patients and their families, we’re truly grateful to everyone who helped make the evening such a success.”
