Summer Superdraw launched at Lindsey Lodge Hospice
.
15th May 2019
Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe has launched its Summer 2019 Superdraw, with a top prize of £1,500 up for grabs for people who purchase a £1 ticket.
The 27-year old Hospice provides free of charge specialist palliative care for day and inpatient patients with life limiting illnesses from North Lincolnshire, including symptom management, emotional support and end of life care.
Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Peter Dennis, who co-ordinates the Hospice Superdraw said: “As an independent charity more than 80% of our £3.5 million annual running costs comes from fundraising and charitable donations.
“And thanks to our fantastic supporters, we’ve raised a staggering £77,000 in our last four draws and it’s this kind of support that helps us to make a big difference to local patients and families who need our specialist hospice services.”
Tickets are available from Lindsey Lodge Hospice reception, all of its Hospice shops and online

Peter said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to one of our patrons, Jotun Paints, who have generously donated £2,000 to cover not just the top prize of £1,500, but also the £250 second prize and third prize of £100, which means all of the money raised by ticket sales comes straight to the Hospice.”
He added: “This is an affordable way to support your local Hospice and every £1 spent on a ticket will help ensure local patients and their families have access to the care they need, free of charge at a time when they need it most.”
