How does your money help?

Your money makes all the difference to Lindsey Lodge Hospice and brings much comfort to patients and their families, both now and in the future. Directly through your donations we were able to complete the £80,000 refurbishment of our Inpatient Unit, allowing us to modernise our patient accommodation, not only with new furniture, specialsit beds and soft furnishings in our six single-bedded rooms, but enabling a significant re-design of the layout of our two two-bedded rooms, covering access to the bathrooms, celing mounted hoists as well as some building work to enhance privacy.

Patient, family and carer stories

A wonderful place...

A wonderful place! When my Mum was there she couldn't eat solid food and every day they came to see what she would like to have (liquidised ). They were so kind and for a while food was not the enemy! I'll never forget that. Thank you to the ladies in the kitchen.

Beyond your call of duty...

My husband visits here on a Tuesday in day care and has nothing but the highest of praise for the staff, facilities and amazing food on offer. You’re all an amazing team going above and beyond your call of duty. Thank you on behalf of myself and my husband.

Lymphoedema care

I have found the lymph treatment and massage really helpful—it has made a real difference to me post-cancer. Thank you!
