Light up a Life 2021
Please join us at 6.45pm on Thursday 16 December at Normanby Hall Country Park for a very special service of carols, readings, music, celebration and reflection, including appearances from the Salvation Army Choir and Brass Band, as well as Piper Danny Fleming.
Each light represents a life, and will remain lit throughout the Christmas period in our Memorial Garden.
Once you have dedicated your light, you will receive two tree decorations. Please use one of the decorations to write a dedication for your loved one to hang on our memorial tree during the service at Normanby Hall. Each dedication will then be transferred to the Hospice Memorial Garden. Your second decoration can be used to decorate your tree at home.
If you’re unable to join us at Normanby Hall, we will also be streaming the service live, so you can join us no matter where you are. We’re encouraging people to turn on their Christmas lights at home simultaneously with the lighting of the Hospice tree.
The name of your loved one will be placed in our Book of Dedication, which will be available to view in our Summer House at the Hospice from Thursday 9 December amongst the glistening Christmas trees.
