Viking Walk 2024

Last Year, we supported 264 families when their loved one was admitted to our Inpatient Unit.
On Sunday 25 February 2024, we are looking to mark this milestone by taking on the Viking Way walk for a massive 26.4 mile hike!

From the village of Claxby, we’ll ascend to, and pass the highest point in Lincolnshire, which lies at a mighty 168m. From there we’ll follow the Viking Way roughly Northwards passing through Caistor before finishing just outside Barton on the banks of the Humber. This route takes us through a variety of terrain, including the Lincolnshire Wolds, rolling farmland, a nod to the area’s industrial heritage before finally finishing on the water’s edge.

The hike will include:
•       Fully qualified, experienced and first-aid trained Lowland Leaders
•       A highly experienced event co-ordinator to oversee the event
•       Attendance at an online information session for participants to discuss required kit before the event

Each paticipant will be expected to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship to cover the costs , but there are several rewards based on the sponsorship level you achieve!

£150 in sponsorship earns you your medal and certificate on completion of the challenge
£300 in sponsorship will get you a Lindsey Lodge water bottle
£500 will get you your very own Challenge with Lindsey Lodge Hoodie!
