Peter raises £700 running the Hull 10k

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Peter Towle who has raised an incredible £700 for Lindsey Lodge by running the Hull 10k two days before his 72^nd birthday, completing the race in 1 hour 9 minutes, a new personal best.

Peter said: “My mother was cared for at Lindsey Lodge as well as other friends and family, when you’ve had a personal connection to the Hospice, you know how important it is to people and the local community.”

Peter would like to say a big thank you to his friend Simon Weightman who he ran with, for his encouragement, support and help with raising sponsorship. He would also like to thank Barton Lions who donated £100.
