To celebrate 30 years of care we're shining the spotlight on our care. Our Inpatient Clinical Team have recently moved across to electronic prescribing. 

This has been a large project that aims to improve efficiency of care and reduce medication errors, in addition to reducing paper usage.

E-prescribing, or electronic prescribing is a technology framework that allows physicians and other medical practitioners to write and send prescriptions to a participating pharmacy electronically instead of using handwritten or faxed notes or calling in prescriptions.
