The Great North Run (GNR) is back on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, and we want you to be part of the magic with #TeamLindseyLodge!

Widely known as the world’s biggest and best half marathon, the GNR is famous for its inclusive atmosphere, unbeatable on-route entertainment, and legendary Geordie welcome. From the unforgettable rush of the Red Arrows flying overhead as you cross the Tyne Bridge, to the deafening roar of the crowd and the famous ‘oggy-oggy-oggy’ chants, the Great North Run magic is hard to understand—until you’ve experienced it for yourself on the iconic Newcastle to South Shields route.

When you secure a charity place with us, you’re not just getting a race number, you’re becoming a vital part of the Lindsey Lodge team! Our runners typically commit to a registration fee and a minimum sponsorship pledge, which directly funds the specialist palliative care we provide.
