Regulars at an Ashby pub reached a £22,000 fundraising milestone for Lindsey Lodge!

Kind-hearted staff and customers at the Queen Bess public house recently handed over a cheque for £4,005 to Lindsey Lodge, which means they’ve raised a total of £22,278 over the years.

Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Kathryn Stuart, who visited the Derwent Road pub to pick up the latest donation said: “This is a huge amount of money to raise for Lindsey Lodge and we are overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of everyone at the Queen Bess.”

She added: “Every time we visit the pub, we’re given such a warm welcome.

“It’s a great local pub, with brilliant customers and they should be extremely proud of what they’ve achieved.

“On behalf of the Lindsey Lodge, I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone for their support – every penny raised goes towards helping local patients and families who require our specialist care.”
