We’re delighted to be holding our first ever charity ball on Saturday 17 November.

Tickets for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice Winter Ball are now on sale, and the event promises an opportunity to dress to impress for a glittering evening of fine food and live entertainment in a red carpet setting at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe.

Lindsey Lodge Hospice Chief Executive Karen Griffiths said: “We’re delighted to be offering our Winter Ball as a new flagship event in our fundraising calendar!”

She added: “Not only will this offer a perfect opportunity for people to enjoy a great night out; our guests will also be helping to raise vital funds to help Lindsey Lodge Hospice continue to support local patients and their families who are living with a life limiting illness.”

We’re run as an independent charity to provide free of charge, specialist palliative care to patients and families living in North Lincolnshire. Last year alone we provided 2,160 overnight stays in its Inpatient Unit and had 2,090 attendances to its Day Care Unit.

Karen added: “Our running costs are around £3.3 million this year, and with less than 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we rely on fundraising activities and donations, so we hope people will come along and support our Winter Ball, in the knowledge they’ll be making a really difference for our charity.”

A £50 ticket (or £400 for table of eight) promises guests a sparkling drinks reception at 7pm, followed by a delicious three-course dinner, live entertainment and music from the brilliant Rolling Keys, as well as lots of exciting surprises throughout the evening.
