Big-hearted bargain hunters have given Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare a £1,900 boost by supporting its first ever car boot sale.
The event, which took place on Sunday 25 April, was the first of four car boot sales planned by the Burringham Road-based charity.
Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Selina Doyle said: “The turnout for our car boot sale was incredible. We had over 60 traders and it was clear that people were happy to be on the hunt for a bargain!
She added: “Our car boot sale raised an incredible £1,900 through pitch sales, car parking, bucket collections and our retail stalls. And, some of our traders very kindly donated their earnings back to Lindsey Lodge.
“We have three more car boot sales planned this year, and traders can book their spot now via our website.”
Selina added: “On behalf of everyone at Lindsey Lodge, I’d like to say a big thank you to all of our supporters for helping to make our first car boot a huge success – we couldn’t have done it without you all.”
